Please note that after the warranty period ends, customers are responsible for the cost of replacement parts.
2. Warranty Coverage
Products are eligible for warranty only if all the following conditions are met:
- The product was purchased from the official ECOROAD store. Items bought second-hand or from unauthorized sellers are not covered.
- The product or part is within the warranty period.
- The issue is due to manufacturing defects or inherent product faults.
- Proof of purchase and the order number are provided and match the product being claimed.
3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
The following situations are not covered under warranty:
- Wear and tear from normal use, or damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper operation, or failure to follow the instructions in the user manual for use, storage, or maintenance
- Accessories, including all separately purchased accessories
- Prolonged exposure to rain or submersion in water
- Use of unauthorized or non-original parts
- Opening, disassembling, or modifying the scooter by unauthorized personnel
- Damage resulting from improper use, poor storage, or accidental incidents such as overspeeding, overloading, or exceeding weight limits
- Free product replacement
- Variations in battery performance, climbing ability, and riding speed caused by usage habits, terrain, weather, or rider weight
- Accidental damage caused during self-repair or repair by unauthorized personnel
The warranty covers light rain exposure and riding through shallow puddles, but not prolonged exposure to rain or submersion in water.
For replacement products, the warranty will continue for the remaining warranty period of the original order and will not be reset or extended.
4. Warranty Periods for Products and Components
4.1 Electric Scooters – 1-Year Warranty
Consumable Parts (6 Months):
Battery, motor, controller, dashboard, charger, shock absorbers
Other Components (12 Months):
All parts excluding the consumables listed above
Not Covered:
Tires, inner tubes, paint finish, all screws
4.2 Kids’ Electric Scooters – 1-Year Warranty
Consumable Parts (6 Months):
Battery, motor, controller, charger, throttle, charging port
Other Components (12 Months):
All parts excluding the consumables listed above
5. Extended Warranty Notice
The Extended Warranty refers to an extension of after-sales support and repair services, not an extension of the return or exchange period.
This extended coverage includes:
- Diagnosis of product issues
- Paid repairs after the standard warranty period
- Customer support for troubleshooting and part replacements
- Warranty service for selected free gifts, if explicitly specified
Replacement parts after the warranty period must be purchased at the customer’s own expense, and we will assist you in obtaining the required parts.
If you have purchased an extended warranty or received an eligible free gift with extended coverage, please retain your proof of purchase. Extended warranty terms will apply only if explicitly stated and confirmed in your order.
